On 1-2 March 2024, the All on Board project team held an important transnational project meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria, hosted by Alternativi International. The meeting brought together representatives from all partner organizations to assess progress, evaluate key outputs, and coordinate upcoming activities, particularly those related to piloting and dissemination.
The day began with a general review of project implementation, focused on verifying that all activities are proceeding according to plan. Partners discussed any deviations, shared updates, and proposed corrective measures where necessary to ensure the project remains on track.
A key highlight of the agenda was the presentation of results from:
– Work Package 2 (Research): Partners shared findings from their local and transnational research efforts, offering insights into the needs and challenges of youth workers and young people.
– Work Package 3 (Methodology Development): The lead organizations introduced the methodologies developed to foster civic engagement, inclusion, and participatory learning in youth work.
Following a short coffee break, the focus shifted to Work Package 4 (Pilot Testing). Discussions included:
– Preparation of the pilot test plan;
– Selection of specific activities in which the methodologies will be implemented;
– Strategic planning for the pilot mobility in Greece, a crucial opportunity to test the tools and methods in real-life settings.
After a collaborative lunch, partners continued with in-depth conversations on implementation strategies, followed by practical steps toward organizing the mobility and refining the pilot activities.
The meeting concluded with a session led by Alternativi International on Work Package 5 (Online Platform and Dissemination). This included updates on the development of the project website and digital tools, as well as the strategy for reaching a wider audience of youth workers and educators.
This meeting marked a significant milestone in the All on Board project, reinforcing our shared commitment to innovation in youth work and civic participation. The next phase will focus on piloting the developed tools and expanding our digital presence, bringing us closer to achieving the project’s long-term goals.
